For your encouragement...

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
~Isaiah 40:31

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
~Galatians 6:9

Just wanted to post these for anyone who may be feeling discouraged. Hang in there!

Tomorrow's Blood Drive day!

We still need people to sign up for Red Cross duty. Those of you who just returned from Mexico, we're on for the blood drive and we'll need two to four people per hour from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and some clean-up help. Please e-mail or call tomorrow morning. Use my cell number. Dress a little better than jeans please (but not like Sunday morning). You know, polo shirts, stuff like that?

Joey at Mt. Ranier!

Keep peddling, dude!
Joey's mom sent me this picture which you can see in higher quality at the link below. It was taken at Mt. Rainier, Washington June15, sometime after, middle or during the 103 mile ride day. His mom says, "He is having a blast and desires our prayers for him."

Red Cross Info

Fellow Community Volunteers and Levelheads...

June 23 our Red Cross Blood Drive is on! I hope you have been passing out fliers and posting posters and pestering your neighbors about giving. The set up will begin around 12:45 p.m. so I would all who would like to work the first shifts to be there at noonish. I will need about four people per hour until 7-8 (tear down). Be ready to commit Wednesday June 16 on a sign up sheet. Mexico Peeps can show up when they feel like it.
If you would like to be a donor, you need to weigh 110 lbs and be 17 or 16 with parent permission.
Get those posters up! Tell your neighbors! Spread the word! Bake me cookies (sorry, carried away).

Spam Attack!

Hey Gang:

If you get a wierd e-mail from me with an ad for wierd stuff. Just toss it. I had a spam attack that my virus software somehow missed and it used my e-mail contacts to send out its ad. I used Norton 360 to find the bot and I think (I hope) I have taken care of it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
