God Opens a Window!

SOURCE: WEATHER.COM
Okay. I'm riding on the mower this morning when it starts to sprinkle. I do what I do many days, I start to talk to Him. "Lord," I say, "If this fellowship is something you agree should happen, please hold off the thunderstorms long enough for us to meet." After I had a shower, I sat down to look at the weather to see when the thunderstorms were coming. There it was. The window I asked God to provide.
Praise the Lord, and thanks.

  3. try not to fall off the tree
  4. don't slide down the tree
  5. bring pain reliever
  6. don't ride through the mud in a ATV
  7. don't get lost in the woods
  8. remember flashlight
  9. remember to bring something to keep you occupied

and that about covers what you to remember on a family "adventure".

Our "Fair" Ladies

This week Audrey, Kayla, and Rachael modeled their projects in advance of the Monroe County Fair. Audrey and Kayla made their outfits (that's right...they made 'em!) and Rachael is doing a Consumer Fashions project. See them model their clothes oln this short video. I had to leave before Kayla had a chance to model, but I did get a photo of her spiffy needlework. Congratulations ladies! If you have a fair project, send me pictures and a description (or better yet, post 'em yourself).

In the gym tonight. Wear athletic shoes

Hey!

The gym paint is dry and we get to use it (just in time with all the rain). Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease wear the proper shoes or bring them and change into them. We want to protect our floor from scuffs and damage. If you don't have the right shoes, you will have to play in your socks or bare-footed...and as Elvis would say...

Thank you. Thank you very much (uh-uh-huh)

Prayer Request

Hi everyone:

Could you all pray for me and my family? Last Friday (July 3rd) my Grandpa S. died from a major heart attack. It's been really hard for all of us, 'cause we were all close to him.

Thanks,

Olivia.

P.S. Thanks to Andrea for posting the "How to post" post! I've never posted before, and it probably would have taken me a while to figure out if she didn't post that...

Posting to the Next Level Blog

Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you how to publish a new post on the blog (just in case anyone was having difficulty figuring it out).
  • Log into your blogger account.
  • On the main page that appears (called the "Dashboard"), there should be a list of all of the blogs that you are a contributer of. If you got the blog invitation from Mr Mose, then this blog should be on the list.
  • There is a button labeled "New Post" underneath this blog on the list. Click that, and you will be brought to a page where you can write the post.
  • Then create your post.
  • Click the button that says "Publish Post" and you will have successfully published a post to the Next Level blog!

Hope this helps!
~Andrea

PS. If you got (and accepted) the blog invitation, all that is required to comment on a post is to be logged in to your blogger account.

Bowlin', bowlin', bowlin

Looks like we're bowling Wednesday night. Meet at Classic Lanes at 7:00 p.m. I am not sure if we will get the rate we did last time, but bring enough money to cover 2-3 games (time permitting). We'll try to be finished by 9:00 p.m.

This Just Added! Classic will charge you $1.95  per game and your shoes are free.

No meeting at Church...Where else?

Hey Gang:

The gym will be epoxy coated and painted. The smell is intense and headache inducing. I have decided not to have Next Level at the church. E-mail me with your vote (and check with your folks) for an ice cream run or impromptu bowling. Contact me as fast as you can.

Glow Bracelet Patrol!

I have a lot of glow bracelets left over from our Fall Festival and I would like to see you Level Heads pass them out to children viewing fireworks at the church Sunday. We want to get parental permission first as they can break open and stain clothes. See me about it at Church Sunday morning if you can.
